On wednesday we went to the fashion outlet in Sternoholy, same area where this fabric store and mall are but on other side of it. We came here after getting out at Depo Hostivar, there is a free bus every 30 minutes. There were few tourists asking how to get here which surprised me that they managed to get here... I noticed that most come here if they are by car, either if they came by car to Czech Republic or rented one here. Going around the outlet was a nightmare as I hate buying new clothes and entire clothes buying experience.
First I went to look in one shoe store but only pair of shoes I liked was 2700czk at outlet price and these were just slingback low-block heels... I liked the color and they were square toe as I wanted but not for this money. Then I went with my aunt to a Benetton store. I liked one dress but after trying it on... I swear it was overpriced for being just some basic cotton that isn't even that good for 1000czk, even more if at full price. I got instead a linen top but even at 60% off it felt expensive at 640czk.
Then I went to see some jeans as my mother wanted me to buy myself some... My mother is especially obsessed with buying cheapest jeans on sale no matter the cut or color just to save money and I ended with terrible skinny jeans for years (same shit she pulled when we were getting shoes, she never would buy me ones I actually wanted and I had to settle on uglier ones that I didn't like) but this time I was lucky. First I went to a Levi's store but prices even at outlet were just almost same as where I live... anything on proper sale was skinny jeans. Additionally I heard their quality dropped and sizing is all over the place, so I edned up going to Lee/Wrangler store instead. Quality is better and I found jeans like I wanted (straight, wider leg and black) for 850czk each which was 25% of original price.
We went around some more stores but everything was disappointing. We managed to get the bus and entire thing took us around a hour.
*Unfortunately after going home my aunt was trying to force me to go to her sort of "vaction house" that is common in Czechia, which annoyed me as going here by public transport is less comfortable than by a car and I wouldn't do anyting as it's middle of nowhere... everything is away and I felt I'd waste 2 days here. Luckily she ended up calling her friend to water her garden instead. I wouldn't stand staying here as everytime I went here I swear I went almost insane every single time.
I did have an argument with her about it and I felt weird that day because I didn't walk enough. I went out to walk around the area a bit and took some photos. I was considering going alone to the center but I didn't feel ready for this yet.
