I woke up at 5:30, though I had hard time sleeping and I was awake for a while a bit past 3. Entire morning felt very stressful, I had to force myself to eat as I never want to eat when I go on some trip.
I got on the train station around 30 minutes before the departure. Unfortunately the train didn't come with right set of cars and I had to ride in 2nd class instead 1st which I bought... I had one young Ukrainian in my section and a guy, I think he was Ukrainian too? Though he spoke a lot of German over the phone.
In Kraków all foreigners get in. I intially had a middle aged couple who had a big anglo vibe who confused their seats with two Australian boomer couples. There also was another guy in the section. When I didn't read or listen to music I listened to their conversation which was kinda interesting even, they are this type of boomers who mostly blows their money on travelling around the world... luckily their kids managed to buy own houses which already inflated in value.
I did talk to them when we passed few last stations, as there was some confusion about when they should get out. They told me that I speak english really well (as I don't really have any opportunities to speak usually) and were surprised that over here we have 2 additional foreign language classes at school. One lady told me that she is envious of her relative who moved to Spain who learned Spanish and some other language, they all said that they wish they knew some other language outside English.
My aunt came to pick me up. I had to call her that train arrived on platform 2, instead of platform 5 as it was announced on the station. I really liked the train station building, the modern part built in 1970s. Going to her place was a bit annoying with my baggage as first we had to ride the metro on line C to Muzeum, then transfer to line A and go to Zeliveskho... the exit we used didn't have an escalator, then on the bus. At least in building where she lives there's a lift.
*I was too tired to do anything than empty my suitcase and then go out with my aunt to walk her dog.
next day >
