I read it last year already, but I find collections of Lem's columns, especially ones from Tygodnik Powszechny which were about diverse range of topics instead technology and the Intenet only, worth revisiting. Lem always was a great observer and his conclusions always are on point and are always current... I think the most about the Internet and I liked how he stated how he despises fantasy as a genre as a hard science-fiction writer. I agree, since I can't stand the genre and I have bad memories of my literature teacher shoving fantasy novels to us (some were mandatory reading), she also was a shit person in general. Not to mention the fandom.
Going back to the actual collection, it was such a breeze to read. I like Lem when he's writing in very clear way, even with his usual Lemisms. Like in Wysoki Zamek (High Castle) which is his autobiogrphical novel about his childhood.
Additionally I really want to read Gombrowicz now, even though I did read Fredrydurke partially (but forgot it) back when I was in school, since it was mandatory reading. Lem also talked about Stefan Chwin, in one of columns from chapter about current state of Polish literature. I knew about Chwin, but didn't consider reading any of his books until now. I'll check my local library very soon, hopefully...
I ended up getting another one and it quickly became my favorite. It's similar to my usual 02, but slightly darker and way warmer. It isn't as shiny and is closer to classic lipstick, it's more durable and doesn't eat up in such ugly way like shimmery lipsticks do.
I wish I could test the other shade I considered for that lipstick, which is 07, but there was no tester so I got the more coral nude 17. Which actually isn't so far off from my lipgloss and looks great with beige lipstick and lipgloss. I was really scared of anything more coral, especially light lipsticks since I think they'd look bad on me.
A nice beige-brown... milk coffee colored lipliner which is perfect base for my light, beige pearl lipstick which looked so weird on anything that was a brownish pink. Very nice, neutral base. Built in sharpener is a bonus.
I had it since September, but I've been using it a lot recently. It's really loaded with pigment and shade is beautiful, very durable... I want to get 08 Pearly Raisin to compliment in, since it turned out to be way warmer in reality after I tried it. In packaging it looked so dark and cool, compared to how actually it looks applied.
Since I'm on antibiotics after getting a bad episode of acne, unusual one since I never got it on my cheeks, got prescription exfoilating creams so I changed my usual moisturizing cream just in case. It has similar consistency to Moisture Surge, but you have to use more of it to get same effect... But when applied over these overight creams my face wasn't so dry like it was, it's not pleasant film makes it better as night cream so I'll use it that way. Packaging annoys me, since I prefer jars or transparent bottle with pump to control how much I got left.
