perfume reviews

noa cacharel
Noa is probably the first perfume I really liked. I mean really, really liked to a point I bought it. During my teenage years I hated using any perfume, mostly because of what my mother gave to me (CK's Euphoria and Woman, also DKNY Be Delicious (which I might try again though!)) which felt so heavy and actually... nasty to me or just too strong. I still had metabolism issues which made me smell bad instantly so I didn't use them for that reason, too. It changed after I finally got free of this very... awkard issue.

I wanted to get myself something really delicate and honestly it was a bit of accident why I found this one as I first saw it in one old magazine I was flipping (I think from exact period where it got released) and loved the bottle. First notes didn't really make me sure that I will really like it as I pretty much liked more green or citrus scents over powdery and flower notes. I went out to try it before tester was taken off the floor... and I loved it instantly. It felt nicer, especially on my skin than other perfume I tried (Flower by Kenzo). It has ridiculously long staying power despite being only an EDT. After wearing it since 7 in the moring, I still felt it in the evening. It doesn't project that much, but it's very... nice smell. You feel surprisingly fresh while wearing it. The bottle is really pretty, but you need to get used it doesn't have a bottle cap. Price is great for something that good, both for 50ml and 100ml variants.

I can't feel the peach or plum though. Vanilla, which I hate isn't even noticeable.

Top Notes White Musk, Peony, Freesia, Green Notes, Peach, Plum

Green Tea Elizabeth Arden

Some perfumes make me think about a bygone era. Green Tea is a scent which does evoke feelings of time I never experienced, something nostalgic and memories of childhood at once. I have weakness for cheap perfumes as they have specific scent that makes me feel these things.

It's a perfect summer perfume, it's fresh and doesn't overpower everything around. A mix of green notes, citrus and green tea. I didn't really feel mint that much or white musk. Bergamot is incredibly strong, which I adore... it's one of my favorite scents, my favorite ever bar soap is bergamot scented actually.

My only issue is it's a weak EDP, I excepted a bit longer lasting power from it despite the low price. It lasted only 4 hours on my skin usually, sometimes maybe up to 6 depending how much I used. The price is good, given that I already burned through half of my 30ml so fast and I'm gonna get myself a 100ml bottle next.
