I got my period after 44 days this time, which might be a new record so far. Despite losing weight my cycles got longer. Right before and during initial phase of my weight loss my cycles dropped to longer end of the norm, around 32-34 days. Previously they averaged 40 days. After losing now 11kg (during past month despite eating more seems I didn't hit my maintenance and I dropped another kilogram, now I'm 56kg yet I was scared I gained some weight recently because I felt bloated on face especially) they didn't come back to norm at all.
I'm going tomorrow get a GP visit to get blood tests and two visits (gynecologist and endocrinologist) on public system. Hopefully before my period ends. As I checked that in one cheaper point whole thyroid panel and and hormones for PCOS would cost me 300 zlotys. I rarely go to specialists on public system but if I can I'll use the opportunity.
*I managed to clean my sewing room and I had to trash so many patterns I copied before because they are too big for me. They weren't folded in my binders anyway and most were damaged. All jackets and skirts in 38 are too loose for me now, the first due the generous ease (I usually take 36 or 34 if available to avoid alterations) and latter due to that I lost so much in my hips that I wear 36 here now. I'm currently tracing a coat pattern as I need a grey coat for now, hopefully later I'll be able to buy wool batting as I want it for a winter coat. I found a black wool in weight I want already. Maybe I'll make the batting part detachable, zippers in main body and hoops and buttons in sleeves would make sense. I didn't sew since begining of the month, so I need to make up for that.
The most annoying thing is that I need to fit patterns again. My favorite dress/top pattern in 38 has incredible amount of ease for Burda (8cm compared to usual 4cm) and I have to use 36... but with any dress now I have to blend sizes anyway. I got some reprints of Italian patterns which despite Italy being a fashion powerhouse... were kinda 2 years behind trends I swear... or it was older stuff reprinted 2 years later. I want to try them, though earlier require either grading them yourself or even drafting them based on grid. Burda was on trend since 1998, but only since 1999 it truly was showing models that were like current runway stuff. Patrones got better since 2000 for example, though any Spanish or Italian journal will have less of what I want (jackets and coats) and I feel they had better photoshots than Burda had actually.
