Today I had a really busy day, but it was fun in the end. I woke up at 4:00 just to get one of two buses before 7:27 when my train departed, got on one at 6:00. I was at train station at 6:30 and had almost hour until my train, the waiting rooms were stuffed but at least one bistro nearby was open. I didn't have to wait much when I was going back home though. Meet lot of people I know, did work related orders and had a really good lunch (for free). Looked nice and felt good. Additionally I had an opportunity to go to a big mall for to get few things but well, they didn't have this Shiseido eyeliner I wanted but instead I got mattyfying tissues from Inglot (would do it ages ago, as I ran out while ago, but I don't order online and well, they closed the shop in the mall (shameful!)).
*Anyway, I finally achieved my goal weight even after coming out the deficit in theory but I had lot of days I ate less because I don't want to eat that much. Today I feel bloated after eating that much, really.
*>From other news, I finally sewn a taliored jacket and it took me two "whole" days (cutting, serging, sewing long seams and lining on last day) and two evenings (collar and facings (3,5h of pinning, basting and sewing) and sleeves with shoulder pads (set in both sleeves at first try, made shoulder pads myself as bought ones are way too hard). Pattern is 124 from Burda 01/2000 in 38 - for 38 it has less ease than I excepted in this cut, but I'll grade it down to 36 for better fit. I skipped the horizontal seam on front and pockets. Fit is roomy, the concealed closure is simplified variant (buttonholes in right facing rather more complicated usual variant) and even variant A I sewn is way too long. 4cm too long if I plan to wear it with ider skirts. Most likely I'll change the back and make it one piece with center seam and darts similar to ones in front as base for princess seams, I think it will be one of my to-go jacket patterns for sure. There is a zip up jacket in same issue I plan to sew soon.
