I wore my new skirt today and it was a stupid idea. My hips are still to big for size 38 and I ended up with some seams which almost bursted due to stress so now I'll use interfacing on back seam and have it cover a bit more of fabric in back vent area - to strengthen the fabric, zigzag the end of the topstiching on back vent, sew area where pockets are attached inside to side seam few times. Most importantly, sew that invisible zipper correctly, no need to hurry with them.
I didn't have time recently to photograph pieces I made but I hope I'll be able to do this during this week, there's a holiday on 30th so I'll have some time to make a new part of site only for these.
*I actually ended up exercising today and I want to keep it up. Now I'm focusing on both hips and stomach, in the not so distant future I want to expand it to exercise my arms and calves (mostly to burn excess fat). I even found my sports bra... If I'll keep it up I will finally be able to wear any bottoms I sew. With tops I don't have much of issue, unless it's an item with really narrow sleeves. Tops and jackets are fine, dresses are fine if they are wider at the bottom. I gained around 5 kg since last year which sucks, I'm now a bit over 65kg though so I lost almost 2kg recently by cutting carbs and sugar (though not entirely... I hope to me more rigoristic with this). My goal is 60kg and having real ease in burda 38 size... Not that much and I could achieve it ages ago but I was always too lazy.
I'm finally reading one of books I'm due to return to the library, I hope to finish it soon and it's perfect material for a review. One book I was looking for, which supposedly was available in the library but then it turned out it got lost, was found and I need to pick it up until 3rd. I hope to manage this as I need to extend my loan on the other book too...
