SUV drivers are insufferable and I swear they think they actually own the road. In the morning I'd almost end in a heads on collision twice... I don't know why people don't drive slower here. It happens all the time in this narrow, bendy road with 30km/h speed limit yet they still drive too fast. First time an older RAV4 almost hit us and it was a pure luck that my mom could omit it, next time it was some newer Renault SUV and this time she did drive slower, yet the other driver didn't care at all :').

The worst thing is that my mom ended up damaging one side of her car (which had similar damage before on exact same panel, but it just needed a paint job) while driving through the main gate. It's still a good car and it's a mythical unicorn 15 years old car with only 100k on the odometer and it was mostly kept in the garage but unfortunately it's japanese. If it won't get fixed as soon as possible rust might appear as this spot, near the back door, was bent inside and entire paint with primer cracked and some fell off leaving bare metal. Plastic over one of the wheels needs to be replaced (again) and additionally one door needs to be painted again. Shit like this always happens when she's nervous. I wish she did get glasses for astigmatism too, as it would help her with driving a lot.

Recently I was thinking a lot about how late gen x and early millennial women cringeified crafts like knitting or sewing, especially in the west and how now zoomer girls are coming back to knitting and sewing and doing it like it used to be before. Reclaiming it. Loads of western gen x and millennial women knit and sew to virtue signal how above consoomers they are while doing most garish and tasteless pieces you could imagine. It shift that occured in 2000s with stitch and bitch book, knitty and raverly and indie sewing patterns becoming a thing due to the internet, the cringe 2000s craft revival. Especially in the west home sewing was less common and it was mostly older women who knew and younger ones who did often could because they became professional dressmakers. This type of cringe didn't come to my country until few years ago as many women of similar age here did sew when they were younger and women in their families did too so it didn't really become less common until last decade? Fast fashion was expensive for many people for years here and for long time Zara and H&M were considered nice quality clothing...

I want to definitely write on this phenomenon. Zoomer girls actually make cute stuff that looks good and their etsy patterns are actually nicer than zero waste """pattern""" sacks that these uber cringe late x-er and millennial women make to show their superiority in most tasteless way.
